Religion searches for meaning in life; Christ, who is our life, is the meaning of life.
Religion teaches its cherished and unique truths; Christ is the truth.
In John 15:18-20… Jesus tells his disciples that the world will hate them because of him. The world at large is a religious world – a world that opposes God’s grace.”
